Tehran, November 13 (MRUD NEWS)—Road transit between Iran and Turkmenistan is resumed through Incheh Borun Border after about 32 months hiatus.
The traffic would be regular after entrance of Turkmenistan truck fleet on November 9 to Incheh Borun Terminal for transship.
The truck was carrying 24 tons of tiles and ceramics.
Incheh Borun Border terminal was unilaterally blocked by Turkmenistan from February 2020 to September 2021 and since then until recently transit was operational limitedly by swap body.
It is expected that Iranian fleets would transit through Incheh Borun Border in the near future.
Nearly 11,000 cargo fleets each 24 tons on average transited from Incheh Borun Border by swap body trailer during six months from March 2022 to September 2022.
