Western Hormozgan Ports Enhance Telecommunications Infrastructure The Director of Ports and Maritime Affairs in Western Hormozgan, Morteza Salari, announced a significant upgrade to the telecommunications infrastructure in the region's ports, valued at 200 billion rials. This initiative aims to enhance safety within port basins and areas while ensuring stable communications across the ports.

He further noted that, given the strategic importance of Western Hormozgan's ports, this development is a vital step toward accelerating maritime operations and reducing potential risks for ships and vessels.

In addition, Amin Sadeghi, Head of Technical and Engineering Affairs for Western Hormozgan Ports, highlighted that enhanced port safety not only improves management systems but also attracts more commercial investments, boosting economic growth in the region. He stated that with the completion of these upgrades, Western Hormozgan Ports are expected to emerge as a key communication and security hub in the Persian Gulf. This move is seen as a significant step toward achieving long-term goals in maritime operations and international trade.
