Mohammad Shakibi-Nasab, during this visit, while conducting a field review of the process of loading and unloading essential goods at the eastern quay of Nowshahr Port, closely examined the operational activities, loading and unloading equipment and facilities, existing capacities, and the manner of providing port services.

During this visit, the development plans and projects of Nowshahr Port were also reviewed and evaluated, with the aim of enhancing operational capacity, improving infrastructure, increasing equipment productivity, and strengthening the port's role in the country's maritime transport and trade chain

According to this report, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, during his visit to review the progress of the remaining 6 percent of the dedicated and direct access road project of Nowshahr Port, noting that this road plays a significant role in the peace of Nowshahr's residents and reducing the traffic burden of trucks in the city, emphasized the swift and immediate completion of the final asphalting and making it ready for operation.

The direct access road project to Nowshahr Port is one of the important infrastructure projects of this county, whose executive operations began about seven years ago on a route of more than 2 kilometers in three stages over the Mashelak River. Establishing a direct connection between the dry port located on the edge of the ring road and Nowshahr Port, accelerating the process of cargo loading and unloading, reducing urban traffic, organizing the traffic of cargo-carrying trailers, economic prosperity, and job creation have been cited as the most important objectives of implementing this project.
