Tehran, August 29 (MRUD NEWS)—On the occasion of Government Week in Iran, 323 transport and urban development projects with more than 18000 billion toman credit and foreign currency credit of 4.23 million euros will be inaugurated, Iran Minister of Roads and Urban Development announced.

Rostam Ghasemi, congratulating the Government week while honoring the memory of the martyrs of the government, especially Shahid Rajaei and Bahoner, stated: this week, 237 km of freeways, highways and main roads, 400 km of rural roads, 150 km of road safety measures, construction of 17 road maintenance stations and border terminals will be operated.

Also 106 kilometers of branch line, more than 40 projects in the northern and southern ports of the country will be opened and operated.

Additionally, 54 projects in housing and urban development sector will be opened in new cities across the country, including construction of schools, commercial buildings, sewage networks and sports spaces.

Ghasemi reminded that in the urban regeneration company, 49 projects for the construction of parks, sports halls, libraries, police stations, water and sewage networks, asphalting of various roads and restoration of old urban areas and neighborhoods will be inaugurated.
