Bazrpash headed to Beijing

Bazrpash headed to Beijing Iran Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Mehrdad Bazrpash, accompanies Iran President in his official visit to China along with other ministerial members of the delegation.

Tehran, February 14 (MRUD NEWS)—Iran Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Mehrdad Bazrpash, headed to Beijing last night on February 13 along with the President and accompanying delegation in order to deepen relations and enhance cooperation among the countries in Aisa. 

The official visit has been at the invitation of President Xi Jinping from President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi. 

During the three-day visit, Ebrahim Raisi, will meet the Prime Minister, Li Keqiang, and the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Li Zhanshu.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin as cited in Xinhua, China sees "the visit as an opportunity to promote greater development of the China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership". 

Iran and China are expected to sign several key deals during the visit to further expand their bilateral ties. According to Iran President Ebrahim, speaking to reporters at Tehran’s International Mehrabad Airport, about 20 different agreements will be signed between Tehran and Beijing during the visit to China.

Further, the two sides will discuss joint regional and international issues during the visit.

Attending and speaking at the Beijing University, meeting with top Chinese intellectuals, meeting and talking with Chinese elites and economic activists, and meeting with the Iranian residents are other plans of the President in his three-day trip.

Hossein Amirabdollahian, Iran Minister of Foreign Affairs, Seyed Ehsan Khandozi, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and Chairman of Iran-China Joint Economic Commission, Mehrdad Bazarpash, Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Javad Oji, Minister of Petroleum, Seyed Javad Sadatinejad, Minister of Agriculture, Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade, Mohammad Reza Farzin, Governor of the Central Bank, and Gholam Hossein Esmaili, the head of the President's office, accompany the President in the visit.
