Investing Over 10 Trillion Rials to Develop Ahvaz Airport Infrastructure

یزسسی The Deputy of Roads and Urban Development Minister and the CEO of the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company(IAC)announced the implementation of a series of major development projects at the country's airports aiming to improve services, increasing economic efficiency, and facilitating passenger movement through the BOT method in cooperation with the private sector.

Mohammad Amirani stated: The new construction and service projects at Shahid Soleimani Ahvaz Airport has been started, including;  VIP lounge (CIP), a multi-story parking facility, an airport hotel, and a garden restaurant, with  10,743 billion rials investment.
Amirani further added: The VIP lounge (CIP), covering an area of 1,026 square meters, will be completed within the next two years with an investment of 2,040 billion rials.
Additionally, the new three-story parking facility, with an area of 3,484 square meters and a cost exceeding 1,514 billion rials, will help organize traffic and facilitate passenger access, he said.
According to Amirani, the construction of a three-story airport hotel with a built-up area of 2,225 square meters and an investment of over 6,523 billion rials is also planned and will be completed within three years.
Regarding the airport garden restaurant project, he noted: The project, with an investment of 666 billion rials, will provide a pleasant environment for passenger rest and dining.
