MRUDNEWS-PMO News Portal - Referring to her inspections of Hormozgan's transport routes and areas damaged by recent US attacks on infrastructure, she stated: "Despite the brutal attacks on road infrastructure, including the destruction of bridges and tunnels on the Sirjan-Bandar Abbas route and the Rudan-Manoojan axis, thanks to the efforts and dedication of Road Maintenance Organization personnel, there are no blockages in the country's road network, and traffic is flowing on all these routes."

Sadegh noted that the destruction of infrastructure has not been able to disrupt the country's transport network, adding that all road and rail routes in Hormozgan Province have been reopened, and the flow of essential goods continues uninterrupted.

Regarding the rail network, she said: "Despite extreme heat and harsh weather conditions, workers are laboring around the clock to reconstruct damaged sections, and soon the railway lines will be fully operational for cargo and passenger transport."

Essential Goods Supply Uninterrupted

Addressing the situation of the country's ports, particularly Shahid Rajaee Port, the Minister stated: "The enemy's corridor war was designed to bring the Iranian people to their knees, but thanks to the efforts of the private sector, truck drivers, and port workers, no shortages in essential goods and public necessities have been reported across the country."

She continued: "Despite economic pressures and attacks on port infrastructure, the flow of loading and unloading has not stopped. By utilizing the capacity of northern ports and eastern and western border terminals, precise planning has been carried out for the sustainability of the supply chain."

Sadegh also announced the development of international cooperation in the port sector, noting: "Despite the explosion and incident at Shahid Rajaee Port, the speed of action in returning this port to operation conveyed a message of Iran's power and infrastructure resilience to the Kazakh side."

Referring to the land allocation project for Kazakhstan's private sector at Shahid Rajaee Port, she added: "This project is being pursued seriously. Negotiations for establishing a 'dry port' in Kazakhstan are also on the agenda to accelerate cargo transit from China, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Iran to open waters, paving the way for easier access to global markets for regional countries."
