Tehran, December 13 (MRUD NEWS)—Following the demise of Rostam Ghasemi, the former Minister of Roads and Urban Development, on December 8 after a long illness, Qatar Minister of Transport travelled to Iran to attend the funeral and to convey condolences.
In his trip, Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti met with the new Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Mehrdad Bazrpash.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed expanding transport cooperation and followed up previous agreements.
Rostam Ghasemi was also the previous minister of petroleum from August 2011 to August 2013. He also served as the economic deputy of Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
