Freeway Projects in Iran attract investments

freeway projects Upon development of transport network in Iran, the CDTIC has listed twelve Freeway projects which attract investments.

Tehran, January 8 (MRUD NEWS)—Twelve freeway projects in Iran are ready to attract investments estimating to 2,682,000 billion IRR for 1,865 kilometers, according to Iran's Construction and Development of Transportation Infrastructures Company (CDTIC).
The projects include: Isfahan-Izadkhast Freeway (114 km), the first, second and third sections of Marand-Bazargan Freeway (70 km, 60 km, 59 km), the remaining northern part of Tehran-Pardis Freeway (12 km), Shiraz-Bushehr Freeway (213 km), Pole Zal-Murmuri-Chilat Border Freeway (125 km), Ahvaz-Andimeshk Freeway (128 km), the remaining part of Esfahan Western Bypass Freeway (15 km), Arak-Rahjerd Freeway (68 km), Chalus-Ramsar Freeway (92 km), and Natanz-Sirjan-Bandar Abbas (909 km).
The total lengths of roads in Iran are 220,343 km from which the Freeway accounts for 2,783 km. Currently, 1,038 km freeway is further under construction, and 1,882 km is under study.
Previously, on the occasion of transport week in Iran (December 17-22), Iran Deputy Minister and CEO of the Construction and Development of Transportation Infrastructures Company, Kheirollah Khademi, informed of completion of 293 km new freeways by the next year which already have more than 85 percent physical progress.
