Tehran, July 17 (MRUD NEWS)—Iran Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Mehrdad Bazrpash, and Shahin Mustafayev, First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan are meeting right now as the heads of Iran-Azerbaijan Joint Economic Commission in the border city of Astara.
The heads of the Joint Economic Commission negotiate over promoting cooperation, border facilities, joint rail and road projects and the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) as part of developing mutual relations.
The meeting is held after Iranian delegation welcomed Azerbaijan delegation on the Astrachai Bridge.
The bilateral meeting kicked off in Astara with the presence of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Governors of Gilan and Ardabil.
