Hamid Khalili, during a one-day visit to Amirabad Port, held a specialized meeting with the port's Director General and deputies and reviewed the latest status of construction and infrastructure projects.

Khalili and his accompanying delegation subsequently visited various sections of the port, inspecting coastal projects and constructions as well as the Sadra Shipbuilding Company, reviewing the latest status of activities and existing capacities.

The implementation process of key and strategic projects at Amirabad Port was also reviewed, including the Ro-Ro rail berth, the port railway project, the eastern lands, and the retaining wall between the port and the Miankaleh Wildlife Refuge.

The member of the executive board and Acting Deputy for Technical and Infrastructure Affairs at the Ports and Maritime Organization assessed the implementation progress of construction projects at Amirabad Port as positive and emphasized the importance of these plans in developing port capacities and strengthening combined transportation.

He also called for accelerating construction operations, completing projects according to the approved schedule, and maintaining technical supervision over the implementation process, while emphasizing compliance with quality requirements at all stages of project execution.

It is worth noting that at this meeting, Mohammad Ali Mousapour Gorji, the Director General of Ports and Maritime of Amirabad, presented a report on the implementation progress of infrastructure projects, the physical progress rate of the plans, measures taken, and upcoming programs.
